What is the 'Now Period'?
How do you attune to where you are right now in your life?
How does this inform your intention and choices?
Images and writing are powerful ways to listen deeply within, and bring what you know more fully into your life. Here, Kathleen shares a sample of how this works.
Welcome to the studio!
A quick, very spontaneous image arrives
I invited words, and this is what came:
I am the meeting place of two waves of life. The place where one wave meets the other and a new way emerges. I am learning what is at the heart of my work at this time in my life.
I am looking forward to exploring this powerful statement more fully. It is rich with meaning and possibility.
The first Art as a Healing Practice Workshop guides you in a thorough exploration of the
Now Period in your life. The Now is always the most powerful place to begin.

The Art as a Healing Practice created by Kathleen Horne has always been a favorite Expressive Arts Florida workshop series of mine. I really enjoy the different prompts and creative applications used to lead one on a new journey of self discovery about an aspect of self. Buried wisdoms and affirmations reveal themselves in color, line and theme as Kathleen gently guides and holds the space to witness and
be witnessed. Each workshop is an important stand alone, to later be integrated and harvested again in an exciting final cumulative piece. Weaving together clarity, insights and intentions to inform my present and ongoing life course. So many possibilities for healing, transformation and growth.
