Theme: The power of compassionate witnessing
The expressive arts process allows us to compassionately and powerfully witness our own experience and that of others. It is a mindfulness practice of deep listening, without interpretation or judgement. We invite you to experience the power of loving witnessing with us in this 5 hour training retreat.
- We will guide you through a deep, exploratory process of renewal and restoration through visual art, movement, sound, and writing. Along the way, you will learn to navigate the 5 steps of intermodal arts process.
- Connect with an expertly guided small group (4-5) and the larger group (up to 20) in our five hours together.
- Discover the power and wisdom of your own creativity, and learn how to access it and share with others.
- Inspired by, and adapted from the content of Creative Wisdom: Introductory Online Training in Expressive Arts. This retreat is a natural next step to bring you learning into a live, interactive format.
Creative Wisdom Online Training Retreat is exactly that. A collection of exercises and experiences which will spark and sustain creative ideas, as well as uncover wisdom which is innate. The combination of top-notch facilitators with participants who are deeply soulful and expressive makes this training absolutely essential. As a writer and a therapist, I received a ton of support and inspiration. Becky B.

In times such as these, Expressive Arts Florida Institute founders and facilitators offer an exceptional blend of expertise with not only Creative Expression, but also with virtual group dynamics that invite, support and surround participants with respect and room for personal exploration. Their willingness to
participate and come alongside of the group members fosters a setting of mutuality and trust in the process and in the participants. They model what they teach and they teach what they model, with utmost skill and care. Rachelle Oppenhuizen (graduate 2017)
