Are you feeling called to Expressive
Arts? Are you wondering what training you might need?
We believe that Expressive Arts can be practiced ethically and effectively in a wide variety of settings by a wide variety of trained practitioners.
At Expressive Arts Florida Institute, this is one of our guiding principles. There are many ways to practice this work, in many settings, by so many different practitioners. It so important to know and throughly understand the answers to these questions:
- Where and how do I get the training I need?
- What is my area of competency?
- What is the purpose of my work?
- Who are the people I am working with and what is their goal?
- How strong is the "container" of my work?
- How do I create expressive arts experiences that take people to the right depth of experience considering the setting?
- Have I done this process myself, before offering it to others?
Whether you are a coach, a therapist, counselor, educator, health care professional, spiritual director, artist, or interested person feeling drawn to the work:
Training in Expressive Arts and a solid personal expressive arts practice are essential.
