Art as a Healing Practice is an expressive arts process that embraces the positive power of creative work/play to change lives. It is a series of carefully guided themed sessions that each consist of a gentle and powerful blend of guided meditation, visual art, writing and sharing/witnessing.
We recommend that you participate in all 6 sessions. If that is not possible, though, you may register for single sessions

Registration Deadline: 7 days prior to workshop date. If minimum enrollment is not met, workshop may be canceled. Please register by March 4, if possible.

Kathleen Horne, MA, LMHC, Registered Expressive Arts Consultant Educator (REACE) and a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT). With 30 years of experience in counseling and 20 years in expressive arts, she is Co-Founder and Core Faculty of Expressive Arts Florida Institute, where she now facilitates workshops and trains facilitators. Patricia Manning RN, BSN is a Childbirth Education Specialist, a Board Certified Holistic Nurse/Baccalaureate Level and is a multi-state licensee through the Florida Board of Nursing/Nursing Compact States. She is also a graduate of the Art and Healing Program at Ringling College of Art and Design. Patricia provides Pregnancy Health and Wellness classes for at risk mothers-to-be in
Sarasota, incorporating expressive arts into her practice. In the role of Nurse Planner at EAFI, Patricia is accountable for the oversight of all aspects of planning, implementation and evaluation of the Continuing Nurse Education (CNE) sessions. Patricia co-facilitates Art as a Healing Practice with Kathleen Horne.
