In this three hour workshop led by expressive arts facilitators Linda Joffe and Tamara Teeter Knapp, participants will be gently guided through a series of creative exercises involving both visual art and movement.

Absolutely no
dance or art experience is necessary! All that is required is to be open, curious and willing, especially if you are wondering what your body needs to feel its best. We will move through fluid dance, create authentic imagery, and learn to listen to what your body and spirit need to feel alive and healthy. All art supplies are included.

Tamara Teeter Knapp is co-founder, partner and core faculty at Expressive Arts Florida Institute, based in Sarasota. She has a BA in Art and Psychology from the University of Alaska Anchorage and earned a Certificate in Art and Healing from Ringling College of Art and Design. An educator since 1997, she taught at the Aurora Waldorf School in Anchorage, Alaska; art and
expressive arts at Emma E. Booker and Fruitville Elementary Schools; and art summer camp at Art Center Sarasota. A dancer and a visual artist, Tamara received special training in Creative Drama for Creative Learning provided by the Kennedy Center for the Arts. She teaches workshops and trains others in the field of expressive arts. Her work with adults, children and families is focused on self-expression, communication and wellness.
A lifelong dancer, pianist and arts lover, Linda Joffe
teaches Fluid Dance at Radiant Soul Yoga & Wellness. She holds a BA from the University of Michigan and a certificate in Art and Healing from Ringling College of Art and Design. She also studied at the Leven Institute for Expressive Movement in Lenox, Massachusetts (www.leveninstitute.com), where she earned a teaching certificate in Shake Your Soul. Linda has facilitated expressive arts sessions at the Jewish Family and Children's Services, the Friendship
Centers and the Women's Resource Center of Sarasota County.
