What is it,
exactly? - A 24 hour retreat space for you to learn about and explore with, expressive arts, under the guidance of leaders in the field.
- 8 hours of live instruction and facilitation by our core faculty.
- A solid
introduction to the field of Expressive Arts
- A workshop that will engage you fully, as though you were with us in person.
- An opportunity to set intention, explore your relationship to your creativity, and where you are in your life right now - all through the arts.
- Guided meditations, journal prompts and arts invitations to work with on your own during the retreat time, and after.
- A carefully held and guided small group experience.
- A closed Facebook group set up especially for the
retreat.
What are the hours? - The live interaction is in
2 sessions: 5-9 pm Friday Oct. 28 and 1-5 pm Saturday Oct. 29, Eastern time
- The retreat space is held for the whole 24 hours (Friday 5 pm to Saturday 5 pm). You will be given prompts and invites to work on during that time, and you will be supported by the FB group.
- Your participation in the live sessions is essential. You may
choose your level of participation during the open retreat time.
How does it work?
- After you register, we will be in touch to learn a little more about you, and to give you some info on how to prepare.
- you receive a link to attend via Zoom video conferencing. It is simple and requires no special technical expertise, just a good internet connection.
- A private Facebook group (optional) will support and enhance the community of sharing and support.
What do you need?
- A good
internet connection
- Some simple basic art supplies, paper, and a journal or notebook
- A private space without distractions for the live sessions
- A commitment to yourself and a willingness and ability for
self-exploration.
