We have a few openings in
Foundations of Expressive Arts - Jan. 15-18, 2015.
This is one of the Level 2 core courses in Expressive Arts Florida Institute Training Program, and, just this once, we are opening registration to
a few qualified people, as a stand-alone workshop.

Here is the brief course description:
EAFI 210: Foundations of Expressive
Arts
A presentation of the work of a variety of Expressive Arts practitioners who have influenced, and are shaping, this field. The focus will be on pioneers whose work is intermodal. Creation of a personal philosophical approach will be encouraged, and students will explore their own "foundations" of this work. 25 hours.
Learning Objectives
- Through reading and discussion, students will expand their understanding of history of Intermodal Expressive Arts.
- Through experiential practice, reading and
discussion, students will expand their knowledge and understanding of the theoretical framework and guiding philosophies of Expressive Arts.
- Students will be able to compare and contrast the range of philosophies and theories of Expressive Arts.
- Through understanding and utilization of the methods of the pioneers in the
field, students will be encouraged to begin developing their own philosophy and practice of Expressive Arts.
Learning is primarily experiential, with some didactic segments.

Small class size. Max 10.
Anyone who takes this course as a stand-alone (not an EAFI 210
Certificate student) will not have the reading and written assignments.

Fee (includes supplies): $850
Prerequisites: some background and training in intermodal expressive arts.
