Dear Creative Friend, How are the energies of the equinox moving in your life? If you are in the northern hemisphere, entering a time of new
growth and the longer light of spring, what might be slowly emerging? Perhaps you find yourself in a place of exquisite balance, or maybe in a place of tension—with one foot still in the stillness of winter and the other being pulled toward new life. If you are in the southern hemisphere, entering autumn, what are you releasing as the days become shorter and the nights longer? The expressive arts offer a potent pathway for being with polarities such as light/dark, inner/outer, or stillness/movement—where contradiction can become creative fuel. In our online Heart of the Elder series, we recently explored the challenges and gifts of aging, using the mandorla form as a visual container. Through imagery and dialogue
writing, we invited awareness, discovered new clarity, and supported inner shifts. The mandorla is a powerful geometric form for working with places of transition and polarity.
a place of opening myself wider, deeper In this image you may notice earth and water, structure and flow, held within a single, shared
form. The equinox itself is like a living mandorla—two equal halves creating a generative space. We invite you to explore this in your own way through our complimentary self-study mini-workshop, Mandorla: Working with Polarities, which you can adapt to whatever you are holding at this threshold.
If you would like to share with us, you can do that in our private Facebook Group. We would love to witness you. If you are not already a member, please be sure to fill out the membership questions in order to join. You may also enjoy following Kathleen's personal practice on

There is only one week left to register for our next in person training! In Expressive Arts as a
Wisdom Path: A Journey of Creative Transformation you will learn the intermodal expressive arts process from the inside out so you can experience firsthand what your clients will experience when you offer it to them. If you know you are planning to register, even if you can't do that until the March 31 deadline, could you email us and let us know your intention? That would be helpful for our planning. Thanks! |
