Hello Creative Friend, Â Sometimes we talk about the flow state or how "time flies when you're having fun". It is common to have this experience when you are fully present in the moment. Time also expands when we engage with our creativity and sink into the present. There are so many health benefits to making art. In the book, "Your Brain on
Art" by Susan Magsamen and Ivy Ross, they write "there is infinite energy and vibration in the universe. There are also unending ways the arts aid in cultivating well-being."  Ever noticed how you feel after even a few minutes of creating—when you're not trying to make something perfect, but just letting your hands move?  Your breath slows. Your mind softens. You feel… more like yourself.  That’s the power of combining mindfulness and creativity. ✨  In the Mindful Art Play Members Club, we use simple creative practices—like doodling, gentle movement, music, or intuitive writing—to bring you into the moment.  You don’t need experience. You
just need curiosity.  This isn’t about being “artistic”—it’s about being present. And when we’re present, everything begins to shift.  The membership begins July 1st—but the waitlist is open now!  ✨ Registration opens THIS FRIDAY, June 20th and members get a free bonus lesson (learn to make an accordion book as your creative container!) AND an exclusive early-bird discount.  Join the waitlist—and take your first step toward transformation through presence and
play.
No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to play. Â
Tamara played with filling in squares, which was so fun! We invite you to try it. Trace or draw little squares all over the page and fill them in with different patterns.Â
In case you missed it,  Sand, Soul and Metaphor: An Expressive Arts Therapy Journey is back, and this time it’s ONLINE!!
