Dear Creative Friend, Today we are feeling very full, after a beautiful, deep, soulful and heart-centered week of sharing and
exploration in Dive In to Expressive Arts Intermodal Intensive. The willingness, creativity, presence, and authenticity of the fourteen people who joined us simply takes our breath away. Although they are officially called our 'students', they are, without a doubt, among our greatest teachers. EAFI 110 class - we thank you! We opened our training program, in 2011, with this same course, and it remains one of our favorites. As we complete this first quarter of 2025, having taught 5 intensives since January, we are now going to our expressive arts practice to listen deeply
and mindfully create the next iteration of our training, as well as the other elements of our business (community programs, therapy, workshops, professional development). While we have many questions and considerations about what is next as we encounter this exciting growth point in our business, we know that by engaging in the work we so deeply
trust - art, movement, writing, sound, contemplation, sand tray, the natural world, and more - we will create a new business structure that is aligned with our lives and authentic visions and answers the call of what is needed by the community as a whole. We will carry forward our foundational principles while being responsive to what is being asked of us in our 'now period', We know this will happen, although until we dive deeper (like our students did this week) we won't know how

you to do that, if you haven't already. We have some live offerings coming up that might support you in your quests, and they are listed below. We welcome you to join us in an Open Studio or Expressive Arts Discovery workshop. You also have access to a collection of self-study workshops, and some free creative resources. If you are reading this
newsletter, you likely already know that expressive arts 'works'! Please remember to use it, in your own lives. Take time to be with your questions, and allow the answers to emerge from your deep engagement with the arts. If you would you like to share any part of your own personal practice, you can do that in our private Facebook group. It is a sanctuary for witnessing one another. (If you are a new member, please be sure to answer the questions and agree to the rules. That helps us to
hold a safe and welcoming space.) |
Thank you for reading our newsletter. We will keep you posted as new plans emerge for us. For the remainder of 2025, we will be offering EAFI 220, 130, 210 and 200. We will be presenting at the IEATA conference in June, and at the online version at the beginning of August. New workshops will also be announced for the coming months. And we will share our plans for 2026 with you as soon as they are fully clear. In the meantime, we will be deep in our arts

Wisdom: Introductory Training in Expressive Arts
What if you could start incorporating expressive arts into your personal and professional life right now? All while learning from the comfort of your home on your own time?
In
this 8 week self-study training you will learn a basic overview and understanding of the field of expressive arts and how to use key expressive arts practices in your work. Whether you are a counselor, educator, healthcare professional, spiritual director, coach, artist or someone who is simply interested in this field, we invite you to join us in this 8 week self-study introductory training in expressive arts.
*Certificate of completion for 16 hours of Expressive Arts training and 16 CEU’s for LMHC, LCSW or LMFT *No prior art or expressive arts experience is
