“The Soul knows exactly the direction and the rhythm that a journey should take.”
John O’Donohue
The Solstice is a time to recognize and honor our connection to the natural world and the change of seasons. The Winter Solstice most often celebrates the day of the “sun’s rebirth.” It is a time when the earth’s axis tilts away from the sun making it the shortest day and the longest night of the year. After the Winter Solstice days become longer and we begin to experience the new sun slowly being revealed to us. So, we mark and honor the concept of darkness to
light.
This makes the Winter Solstice the perfect time to look within to acknowledge our shadow self and the wisdom it shows us. We also celebrate the light so we can help bring the light of our awareness into the darkness.
In this workshop, we will:
➡️ Create new SoulCollage® cards that reflect on darkness and light
➡️ Create a simple lantern/light
➡️ Engage in personal and small group sharing
➡️ Close with a special Winter Solstice Ritual
🌟 Receive your own
SoulCollage® art kit with your registration. (Includes 3 Mat Boards (5x8), 3 Crystal Clear Bags (5.25x8), Curated images for a quick card & materials for your lantern)
