Dear Creative Friend, Â This week we continued using mindful art practices and had fun learning how AI tools can help us get creative. We send gratitude to Sherri Sutton of Positive Impact Force for her insightul and skillful training. It was an exciting introduction to the world of Artificial Intelligence. I (Tamara) choose to look at the AI tools as collaborators - another way to co-create and plan, get ideas moving, and expand possibilities. We were all blown away by how easy it is to generate wonderful ideas that can
help us share more of the meaningful work we do. As we move into late summer and fall, we have some new collaborations coming up. A new series for spiritual directors and a mountain retreat are new opportunities for me (Tamara) to co-facilitate with two amazing women. Tanjariitta Anttila and I have been dreaming of offering our expressive, healing work together for many years. As we consider the nature of our world and the collective healing needed, we recognize that there is a lot of chaos all around us. There are so many difficulties and challenges
in life. Within the challenges, there are aspects that are entitled to reverence and respect. There are opportunities for us to learn, grow, and heal. There is sacred order as well. We are looking forward to exploring how we meet challenges and chaos with reverence and respect to deepen and expand our understanding and connections. In addition, Renee Bhatia, Spiritual Director and part of our mentoring team, and I will hold a monthly series of workshops combining expressive arts and spiritual direction. Her guidance and expertise are such a gift and I am
looking forward to sharing and learning along the way.Â
We have said before that expressive arts is a wisdom path. It is true that through expressive arts practice, I touch what is most sacred to me and feel connected to Spirit. Christine Valters Painter writes in her book, "Through the arts we connect with the
mystery of Creative Spirit beyond us, moving in and through us. Through the arts we open ourselves to dialogue with the Divine". (Painter, V.P. & Beckman, B, 2010, p. 5) Â This week, we invite you to take time to play with art materials and connect to what is most sacred to you. What holds the most meaning for you? Discover what is waiting for you when you spend
time with your Creative Spirit.Â
We also invite you to take a look below at the "Save the Date" section for all upcoming classes & events!Â

Would you like to share your personal practice images? Our private Facebook group  is a sanctuary
for witnessing one another. It is not a place to share or promote your professional work; it is a place to share the images the arise from your deepest creative wisdom. Â We hope you will join us there. (If you are a new member, please be sure to answer the questions and agree to the rules. That helps us to hold a safe and welcoming space.)Â
We hope to see you in the circle soon. With gratitude, Tamara, Kathleen, and the Expressive Arts Florida Team
