Hello Creative
Friends, Â It's that time of year when classes start up again and we will be back in the circle with our students both online and in-person. We are getting very excited about seeing them/you soon. This week, some of our students are beginning their internships and will be faciliting others in their own unique ways - taking their own expressive arts work into the world. Next week, students will learn from other expressive arts
practitioners in EAFI 220 as they present their work from around the world. Then we will begin preparing for October in-person classes in Sarasota. As we begin our fall schedule of training courses, we are filled with gratitude for our students and
graduates. Since starting our training program in 2011, we have had over 70 people graduate from the program - each with their own unique style and passion working with others in a variety of settings for a multitude of purposes.Â
We often say without YOU, our students and community, we could not do this work. It is truly an honor to be with each of our students as they develop into the expressive arts practitioners they want to be. We value deeply the opportunity to guide, witness, and share in their journeys. This week we just want to say thank you! Thank you for being here, for all you are doing to take care of your own creative spirit. Thank you for sharing your passion, your heart, your creative soul with the world in the ways that you are. Thank you for staying with your practice and continuing on the journey to bring hope, love, and healing to the world!
We are still accepting applications for our next expressive arts certificate training program start date! EAFI 130: Scope of Expressive Arts. This course will be in person, in Sarasota, FL. Respond to this
email if you're interested and we'll send you more info! Â |
Would you like to share your personal practice images? Our private Facebook group  is a sanctuary for witnessing one another. It is not a place to
share or promote your professional work; it is a place to share the images the arise from your deepest creative wisdom. (If you are a new member, please be sure to answer the questions and agree to the rules. That helps us to hold a safe and welcoming space.)Â
We hope to see you in the circle soon. With gratitude, Tamara, Kathleen, & the Expressive Arts Florida
