Dear , If you are in the United States or Canada, you may have celebrated Labor Day last week by taking some time off from work. Or maybe you are able to take some time for yourself this weekend. Taking a break from work life is paramount to your own self-care. Spending time
alone...just being, or with friends, family or pets and/or going to explore different spaces & places is good for the soul. Part of taking care of yourself and maintaining good health - emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical- is staying connected and cultivating your
creativity. This week, we have some really fantastic opportunities to indulge in a little creative self-care and also connect with others in the expressive arts community. We hope you'll consider joining us. |
On Wednesday, we have our next Expressive Arts in the World Series workshop featuring long time friend & colleague Markus Scott-Alexander. If you have had the opportunity to work with Markus
previously, you know how passionate he is about his work in expressive arts. He is a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT®) and teaches Expressive Arts for therapy, education, coaching and conflict transformation through World Arts Organization. In this training workshop, you will learn about his initiative Expressive Arts
Without Borders, and learn about your shared values and how to explore your ability to create bridges in arts-based ways. On Friday, we have a SoulCollage® mini retreat, in person here in Sarasota. This workshop, Creating Your Inner Sanctuary with SoulCollage®, will be facilitated by our dear friend and colleague Diane Lampitt, who is a wonderful SoulCollage® and labyrinth facilitator. Diane has over 30 years of facilitation experience and is passionate about creating environments where people can experience transformation and growth. We also have In Person Open Studio on Friday from 10-1 and we look forward to seeing some of you there! |
With gratitude for you, and this ever-blossoming creative community, Tamara, Kathleen, and the Expressive Arts Florida Team |
What's happening this week? We would love to see you in the circle!
Join Markus Scott-Alexander of Expressive Arts Without Borders to learn about your shared values and how to explore your ability to create bridges in arts-based ways.
