We
have been creating containers over here! Containers for learning, containers for dreams, containers for journeys, containers for transformation. In our Creative Containers workshop yesterday we shared space with some of our local community members who have helped us shape this work over many years. We are filled with gratitude for all that we have shared and had so much fun imagining the stories that will be told in our new books! Our Expressive Arts in the World series of training workshops is open! We
hope you will join us for the whole series -each presenter is doing such incredible work to help make the world a better place. Preparing the platform for all of these workshops felt like a huge undertaking and we are so grateful for the presenters and our team for making it all happen. It was a bit like the yarn ball that Tamara wound up yesterday in Open Studio at times - from tangled and messy to organized and ready. It is an honor to host our colleagues and to create the container for
our shared learning. Note to students ready to enroll in EAFI 220: Expressive Arts in the World, we will have that open early this week for you. With the new upgrade, we got delayed just a bit. It is part of our vision to bring expressive arts work even more into the world through sharing and holding space for our students, graduates, and colleagues. During our Business and Profession course we share visions for the expressive arts work that our students will offer in the world - the big dreams each of them has about aligning their purpose with their work. It was a full circle moment this week as
students in the course are looking ahead envisioning themselves in the future and graduates of our program are seeing their visions come to life now. As we added more alumni to the website directory (check it out here), we remember when each of them shared their dreams with us in the same course when they were a student! Oh what a dream to see it happening! What dreams do you hold? What container do you hold them in? Our expressive arts practices are in essence containers that help us to
hold our dreams, hopes, disappointments, losses, and new beginnings. This week, take some time to create a new space in your journal, or a new book itself, for something you are preparing for this summer. As you consider something that is coming up soon, how are you creating a container for the experience? We can't wait to see you in the circle so you can
learn along with us in the exciting new opportunities that have opened up. Creatively yours, Tamara & Kathleen We are excited to announce our Expressive
