Dear Expressive Arts Friends, The IEATA conference - A Drop of Golden Sun - Illuminating Creativity. 表達藝術・其道大光. - is happening in less than a week! While the in-person event is live in Taiwan, the simultaneous online conference - July 14 to 16 - offers a wide array of speakers, panel discussions, experiential workshops, and entertainment. You will find an online exhibitors hall, and some amazing opportunities
to meet one another in our Spatial Chat rooms. It is not too late to register, whether for a day or for the whole experience. We are proud to be a sponsor this year, and Tamara and Kathleen are presenting on Friday July 14. Several of our EAFI community of graduates and mentors are also facilitating workshops. Did you know that IEATA has members from 47 countries? This conference is a true global event that connects us all in a circle of powerful healing and change in the
world. A dedicated conference committee has been working on all the details for the past year, to bring this incredible opportunity to fruition. We hope to see you! |
Here at EAFI, we are taking a break from offering workshops for the month of July. Tamara and Kathleen are each doing some
traveling, spending time with family, and attending to self-care - of ourselves and of the business. We encourage you to embrace the spirit of the season, to spend some time outdoors, to find windows of opportunity to create. Whether it's a tiny sketchbook or journal that you take to the beach or the woods, 5 minutes of spontaneous moving-with-the-breeze on your porch, or tapping out the rhythm of your day on a drum, we encourage you to always remember to gift yourself with what you know -
creative expression nourishes, heals, and provides a path to inner wisdom! May your creative spirit shine! The Expressive Arts Florida Team Have you taken a closer look at our Expressive Arts in the World workshops yet? We have some really fascinating
workshops in store for you featuring incredible facilitators from all over the world. In anticipation of these, we will be featuring two workshops per week over the next few weeks! |

The goal of this workshop is to provide participants with an opportunity to step into the imaginal realms, release preconceived notions of who or what they are, and consider
their unique inner, creative, landscapes as personalized playgrounds for divine connection and spiritual transformation. Learn more about Terra in her Alumni Spotlight! |

SAVE the DATE! Registration for the following workshops will open soon. In this poetry
circle, we will engage poetic medicine as a means of encouraging our hearts to open more fully in our daily lives. Together, we will create a poetic sanctuary within the community. This integrated poetic medicine process encourages our innate ways of knowing such as our imagination, intuition, and an embodied mode of participation. We will read, listen, and be invited to respond to the poetry of the earth. The poetic invitations aim to encourage remembrance, deep listening, self-awareness,
compassion, and gratitude. Cultivating these qualities benefits us and the world around us as they encourage generative acts of reciprocity. As our hearts open, we expand our recognition of being woven within the human and other than human world. This can offer healing and a sense of belonging even as it kindles the fires of love. We begin to hear and respond to voices of earth, and the heart songs that call us. This workshop will engage spiritual directors in an expressive arts process to deepen their understanding of
their role as spiritual director. Through guided meditation, artmaking, movement, and sound exploration, we will explore and play with the ways the expressive arts bring us into a deepening relationship with Mystery. Renee is a graduate of EAFI
and a Spiritual Director. Learn more about her in our July Alumni Spotlight! On demand, start anytime courses |
