Dear friends, In the northern hemisphere we experienced Summer Solstice this week. During a mentoring meeting with students we were invited to bring in the idea of the light within, as we listened to music, made an image, moved, and wrote. Here is the image and writing that arrived for Kathleen, and we
offer it to you, as a message of inspiration. "Uncover the brilliance of the light within. It shines on your path, no matter which way you go, no matter your choices, no matter your mistakes and triumphs. The light shines on your path. It shines on you. The light is you. Let the light illuminate your best kept secrets." Contemplate the light within you. Take a few moments to breathe, to connect with the earth, with your senses, with your creative flow. Play some music that inspires you. Make an image in less than 5 minutes. Move to the image and the music. Write spontaneously for about 3 minutes. What gift did you
receive? If you like, post in our private FB group, here. If you are not a member yet, just fill out the
request to join. We have a lot going on this week and we hope you will join us for something! - Online Open Studio is on Tuesday! This has become a staple of creative connection for many of us.
- On Wednesday, Mitchell Kossak will guide us in
understanding how to use expressive arts to address anxiety and strengthen individual resiliency.
- Thursday we will have our Alumni Circle gathering from 5:00-6:30pm edt. If you are an EAFI alumni and did not receive an email about the gathering and/or need the link, please let us know!
- Friday, EAFI Alumni Jo-Ann Dellaposta, will help us open and balance our solar plexus chakra through various mediums
including guided mediation, Reiki, sound healing, visual art and writing.

This workshop will be a time to reflect on the inner and outer landscapes with a focus on how expressive arts can address individual and collective trauma through a lens of inter and intra- personal neurobiology. Through guided exercises that use breath, sound, rhythmic drumming, movement and image making we will explore how a re-alignment with
personal and transpersonal rhythms can help to facilitate a sense of psychospiritual unity and begin a process of healing. |
Through guided meditation, and an integration of Reiki, sound energy and expressive arts modalities, we will focus on opening and balancing the 3rd Chakra. Participants will:
-Release the blocks that stop you from experiencing your uniqueness -Keep the energy moving to utilize your personal power and strength -Feel
confident and capable to be your individual, authentic self -Learn the steps necessary to keep this energy center clear and thriving -Simulate your learning through the various expressive art modalities, making your experience real and concrete. Using visualization and projection, Reiki is sent to each participant during guided meditation. Reiki and sound healing is used to open and clear the chakra paths, making way for the creative
expression of energy. Learn more

In this workshop we will explore integrative, expressive art making as a pathway of 'direct revelation,' spiritual awakening, and accessing the Universal Life-flow within us all. The goal of this workshop is to provide participants with an opportunity to step into the imaginal realms, release preconceived notions of who or what they are, and consider
their unique inner, creative, landscapes as personalized playgrounds for divine connection and spiritual transformation. Learn more about Terra in her Alumni Spotlight! Online Open Studio with Kathleen Tuesday June 27 1-4 pm Come join us online for some art-making! We will begin with a guided meditation and move into open, self-directed creative time. Just bring your curiosity and take some time to work on your own project. Witnessing and sharing for the last half hour. A beautifully supportive creative community and new people always welcome! Donations in any amount are never required, and are always gratefully accepted. PayPal.Me/eafistudio |
