Dear Creative One, This week our website was restored! We also had some fun gatherings. In Open Studio this week, the session was filled with a bit of magic as a few people came great distances to join us and all acknowledged that our expressive arts practices connect us and inform our lives in profound ways. SoulCollage® for self-care nourished us and helped us reflect on the ways to take care of ourselves,
including using our creative practice. In multiple ways, we were reminded of how much expressive arts practice supports us individually and in community. It is a lifeline for us, a deeply nurturing, life-giving, heart opening practice. Engaging with expressive arts is transformative. We look forward to seeing you in the circle soon! With warmest
regards, Tamara & Kathleen

CREATIVE WISDOM RETREAT - LIVE ONLINE Saturday, March 4 noon - 5 pm est In this powerful 5 hours with two expert facilitators, you will experience both a TRAINING to further your skills as an expressive arts practitioner or therapist, and a RETREAT to check in deeply with yourself and access what is emerging within. TRAINING Whether you are an expressive arts student, facilitator, or therapist, or a helping professional seeking an effective way to work with images, you will discover, through our 5 step process, a highly effective and adaptable model. We will teach this process in an experiential way, as you
will be working with both your own inner process, as well as witnessing and sharing with others. This model is not about interpreting images, but about facilitating an ever-deepening relationship between artist and image. Your images are filled with wisdom, and you will learn to listen and access that wisdom through intermodal process. You will also receive a Certificate of Completion that can be used for CEU’s and training hours towards
registration. RETREAT Consulting your own inner wisdom through your creativity brings you closer to an authentic pathway forward. It is a soulful way to make sense of the place where you are and help you emerge out of
uncertainty or the unknown to something new, a place to start. It might be a moment of uncertainty or a period of your life, but you have the well of wonder and wisdom within you as an ever-flowing resource. Engaging with the expressive arts process provides a fertile journey and the light to carry on this journey as you prepare to meet that which you have been seeking. It is waiting for you and ready to emerge. In this retreat, you will be guided gently through
modalities of meditation, art, movement, sound, and writing to something new. Your discovery will offer a pathway forward as you witness and share with others and delight in your own creations. NEXT CERTIFICATE TRAINING PROGRAM START DATE EAFI 110: Dive In
to Expressive Arts Intermodal Intensive - Live Online March 28-31 If you are considering training and want to experience one of our courses, we invite you to join us as a non-enrolled student Our next training course is coming right up and we are beginning our
preparations. It is a deep dive into an intrapersonal process of discovery and a beautiful place to begin training. It is always exciting to imagine our students in the circle with us and we are welcoming more to join us who are not fully enrolled in the program, but would enjoy learning with us. This core course, which we have
come to call Dive-In to Expressive Arts – is just that – a deep dive into intermodal expressive arts and a gift to yourself. The essence of expressive arts is the way it weaves different modalities together – visual art-making, rhythm, movement, poetry, sound, drama, journaling, and more. It is, essentially, a process of remembering something that was likely once natural. By becoming fluent in intermodal process we deepen our own holistic practice and become attuned to how to work with
others. In-person Open Studio March 10, April 21 10 am – 1pm Come join us for some fun and creative art making! Drop in, relax, stay for an hour or the whole time. Open Studio is held in Room 9 at First Congregational United Church of
