See the times and details for each of these courses
here. Our full 2023 Schedule will be published soon. All core courses will be offered online, except EAFI 130 and 210, which will be offered
in-person. We are continuing to align our training with IEATA's REACE and REAT requirements. My experience as a student with EAFI completely transformed my life personally and professionally. What I was seeking was a new way to bring Expressive Arts to my work as a clinical social worker in private
practice, but I received that and so much more! The faculty provided a safe, nurturing space for me to explore many aspects of myself and my work. I had no idea the depths of the secondary trauma I was holding after 20 years working as a therapist with a focus in abuse and neglect. I found myself in a place where I could gain the education I was looking for and at the same time, bring the Expressive Arts into my life in a way that has allowed me to process my own work. By
incorporating newfound internal creative protective factors as a part of my personal practice, I have reduced the burnout which plagues so many in the helping professions. EAFI gave me the tools to uncover the hidden gems within myself and to tend to myself and my clients in a creative and healing way! I now have the desire and passion to continue doing this challenging but important work. I will be forever grateful.
