Hello Creative Ones!
Will you join us Thursday for our next Professional Development Workshop? We welcome back Markus G. Scott Alexander
Markus will take us through the practice, theory, and philosophy of "Direct Knowledge" and how metaphor is used by both the thinker/feeler in us and the "Knower" that is also us. Visual Art, Movement, and Writing will be used in this experiential master class that bridges the gap between artist and mystic.
"Excellent! Extremely engaging, highly informative, involving all my centers of knowing for a more embodied experience of learning" -FS
The Mystic and the Artist: Exploring the Dynamic Interplay
with Markus G. Scott-Alexander
Thursday May 26th
6pm-8:30pm EDT
Who we are is informed by our growing sense of what we are. The Mystic expands our awareness, and The Artist tracks that expansion with wonder and skill. How this dynamic interplay of the imaginal realm and the mystical realm is brought to our clients will be explored and discussed. This experiential and theoretical
workshop will bridge the gap between the dynamic Knower and the intuitive thinker/feeler.

The Emotional Landscape
with Kathleen Horne, MA, LMHC, REACE, REAT
Tomorrow!
Monday May 23
6-9 pm EDT
Online via Zoom
In this workshop, you will be invited to look within and explore your current emotional state. This is a powerful and helpful way to connect with yourself in the present moment, and bring your compassionate mindful attention to your inner experience.
By considering our emotions as a landscape, we are invited to move from the literal to the imaginal and to engage with the complexity of the inner territory and discover its wisdom through image-making and writing.
You can develop this as an ongoing practice, continuing to use the recorded meditation and resources on your own.
No previous art-making experience is needed.
Expressive Arts Discovery
Listen. Learn. Make Art. Witness. Discover.
June 24th 1pm-2:30pm EDT
Learn about Expressive Arts by engaging in it! Listen to what stirs inside of you. Respond to your longing. Make Art. Tune in. Be aware of the images that are waiting to emerge. Explore creating those images with simple art
materials and let the images speak - in words, movement, or sound, perhaps. Be amazed. Find your way. Share the gifts that your images bring. Connect with others and witness. There is nothing that needs to be said or done. Discover your next step.
Reconnecting to Our Own Nature and the Soul of the World
with Hector Aristizabal
Monday June 13th
6pm-8:30pm EDT
How can Deep Ecology and The Work that Reconnects illuminate the work that we do as expressive arts therapists? The world's ecosystems and social systems seem to be collapsing under the unsustainable effects of the Industrial Growth Society and its devastating exploitation
of nature. Our delusional belief that we are separate from nature or above nature has guided the hubris of our destructive behavior to the point of causing the sixth mass extinction of what some have called the Antropocene. Art and ritual have offered us symbolic paths for healing our connection to our deep soul as ways to connect to the soul of the world. Let's explore together some of these paths!
SoulCollage® Council Suit: Mother Archetype
with Diane Lampitt, M.Ed.
Thursday June 16th
6pm-9pm EDT
What does the Archetype Great Mother, the Divine Feminine, or Mother Earth mean to you? The Great Mother is the oldest of all archetypal forms. She represents fertility, she controls nature, she is both patient and fierce, and so much more! Join us for this SoulCollage®
workshop as we explore the Council Suit with a focus on the Great Mother and explore how this energy resonates within you.
This workshop is for those who have taken an Introduction to SoulCollage® workshop. It is an invitation to take a deep dive into the process to learn about and explore the Council suit. Cards in the Council Suit represent different archetypal energies, energies
that are universal patterns or themes. Some of these Larger Story archetypes enter and act in one’s personal and local story. They are guides and challengers, as in the other suits, but on a larger scale. Your Council cards may help you identify your unique and personal purpose. We will place a focus on the various archetypes representing Mother energy.
Pre-registration is necessary. U.S. residents please register 1 week prior to workshop date; International Participants should register at least 2 weeks prior to workshop date. A SoulCollage® kit will be mailed to you

From Chaos to Flow; From Flow to Stillness
with Mitchell Kossak
Thursday June 23rd
6pm-8:30pm EDT
In this workshop we will explore the different kinds of rhythmic energies that might be guiding our mind/body connections. The ability to charge and discharge energy or tension in the body are important aspects of health. Being rhythmically attuned to tension patterns, how tension is built and
released in breathing patterns, movement, sound, art making, poetry is an important aspect of health and well-being. When we regulate our rhythms, it also reaches beyond our individual self, connecting into an extended field of resonance to others in our lives, communities and to a greater collective consciousness. In this workshop we will explore different ways that engagement in art activities can help us to re-regulate our psychobiology, bringing us back in alignment with our true
self.
