I have been a member of IEATA since 1996, have attended all but one of the conferences and presented at most. I have spent over 12 years as a Board member.
Why? I highly value and believe in this international organisation, run by a dedicated team of volunteers!
IEATA both holds and shapes our field, supporting our work and providing standards and credentialing. Without IEATA, I would never have been able to bring this work so fully into my own life and into my community. Before the days of EAFI, when I didn't yet have a local Expressive Arts community, I could lean into the global IEATA community, knowing that there were others out there who shared and supported
my world view and my vision.
I am thrilled to be a part of this international virtual conference. If you haven't signed up yet, I encourage you to. Registration closes on Wednesday evening, so don't wait! I hope to see you this weekend, in a workshop, a panel discussion, in the Exhibitor's hall, to share a conversation or even eat a meal together.
