Devi-
Many Faces of the One Goddess
with Belinda Rego and Chandini Harlalka
Wednesday November 17th
7pm-9:30pm EDT
As we weave through the mythology of Parvati, Durga and Kali lets meet these powerful energies within ourselves. As we weave through the myth of one goddess who has many faces, an experiential session where you can engage with art, movement and ritual.
- Goddess Parvati, Durga and Kali arise from the same source, each of these goddesses take on the role when needed and show up as completely different energies to face the challenges they are up against.
- The goddesses are powerful, invisible forces that shape behaviour and influence emotions. The goddesses are dominant forces with us, we acquire self knowledge about the strength of certain instincts , priorities and abilities and the possibility of finding personal meaning through our own choices.
- When you understand the mythic dimension of the energies, the learning touches deep creative centres. Myths evoke a feeling of imagination and touch on themes that are part of the human collective inheritance. According to the mythologist Joseph Cmpbell “dream is the personalized myth, myth the depersonalised dream”
- Working through the 3000 year old myths of these three goddesses, we will create art, move and embody
These archetypal energies play a crucial role in our psychological growth and spiritual advancement. Join Chandini and Belinda, your expert guides.
Belinda Rego is an Expressive Arts Therapist, who passionately believes that every individual has the potential to use their creativity and imagination to tap into inner wisdom and participate in their own healing. As a therapist she sees herself as one who facilitates and holds the space for
this process of partnering with Soul, and working through layers that come in the way of the expression of one’s true Self. Her educational background is in the Visual Arts and has a Masters in Fine arts from the prestigious Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati university. She is drawn to Jungian psychology and the transformative power of symbols and images in the therapeutic process. She is also trained and certified in Psychodrama which she incorporates in her work.
Chandini Harlalka is a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist( REAT) from IEATA (International Expressive Art Therapy Association) and a Psychodrama Director (PD) from the Moreno Institute, Germany. She also holds an MFA in Art history. Chandini’s work is rooted in
experiential methodology and Eastern contemplative traditions. Inspired by insights into the human experience, Chandini is committed to a path of self-inquiry, examining the nature of mind and reality by applying critical enquiry and direct embodied experience. Through her work, Chandini aims to re imagine habitual patterns of behaviour by challenging perception and self-reinforcing systems of belief that lock us into cycles of dissatisfaction. Her work combines the use of fine arts,
authentic movement, drama, sand-play and other experiential forms to create a representation of thoughts and feelings, while allowing them to surface through the act of personal discovery, to foster bottom-up transformation.

This Thanksgiving, invite a grateful heart to be with you all year long! This SoulCollage® workshop will focus on cultivating a Spirit of Gratitude. The word gratitude comes from the Latin gratus “pleasing, thankful,” Webster defines as a feeling of appreciation. Gratitude is a powerful emotion and it can be given and/or received.
Discover ways you can experience the Spirit of Gratitude more fully in your life through SoulCollage®.
In preparation for this workshop, collect and copy images of people, places, things for which you are grateful. A SoulCollage® kit containing three 5x8 cards and three sleeves, along with several curated images will be mailed to you in advance.

SoulCollage® : Playing with a Full Deck is a series designed to help you find clarity and insight through the creation and consultation of SoulCollage® cards. A full deck is meant to mirror balance and wholeness. This workshop is for those who have attended an introduction to SoulCollage® workshop and would like to go deeper into the SoulCollage® process and practice. During this Zoom
workshop we will explore the various Neters that appear in our Committee, Community, Companion, and Council suits, create new SoulCollage® cards adding to our deck, and listen deeply as our inner wisdom speaks.
SoulCollage® Playing with a Full Deck
with Diane Lampitt M.Ed.
This workshop is designed for those who have attended a SoulCollage® Introductory workshop and are looking to go deeper into their SoulCollage® practice.
Through a guided movement sequence with elemental energies and free-flowing movement we connect to the wisdom and resources of our innate body wisdom. The movement will lead into deeper exploration and connection with our true essence as well as shadow material through painting, drawing and writing. The shadow of our egos are manifested through thoughts that are critical and judgmental against ourselves and/or others and life circumstances, i.e. a non-acceptance of what is. Embracing the pain of our egos is a task that brings us in connection to our souls that opens us up to the larger dimension of universal energies that support our wholeness and belonging within the
larger earth body. In this exploration you will gain a greater connection to yourself and the truth of your soul and also have an outlet to move, shift and be with the pain and grief of disconnection and separation.

Telehealth and in-person
Tamara Teeter Knapp, MA, REACE, NCC, MHC Intern
Expressive arts therapy is a multimodal, holistic approach to counseling. It acknowledges the complexity of human experience by facilitating the client in exploring all aspects of the self, by inquiring through the imagination and the body about subjective experience, and expanding the play space to allow for new possibilities and shifts in consciousness that lead to desired changes in one’s life.
