Who is it for?
Any woman who wants to focus on personal self-exploration and healing through creative work, in a safe, non-judgmental space.
Expressive Arts Facilitators or therapists who want to learn this model, and like learning-by-experiencing.
Why a retreat?
We consider this as “time-away” for personal work, and we suggest that you keep your outside commitments to a minimum, to make the most of it.
This will be a safe space, without critique or interpretation. The group will be small. (10 max)
Why an intensive?
This will be a circle of safety, a space for intensive work, and participants should be prepared for that. It is an opportunity to engage with yourself in a focused way, through art-making, and it can yield life-changing awareness and shifts. If you are not sure if this is for you, please contact me.
Although this is not a training in Expressive Arts, it is a deep personal dive that will promote greater understanding of the territory of the work. It is recommended as self-care for therapists and practitioners.
Friday noon – 8 pm: We create the container, set the space, meet each other, and engage with the topics:
-
Where am I Now?
-
Art and the Emotional Landscape
Saturday morning:
-
Art and the Physical Self
Saturday afternoon:
-
Exploring a polarity through the Mandorla
Sunday:
-
The Mandala – integration and bringing it all together.
