Through an engaging and fun process of art-making, writing, and dramatic enactment, you will invite rejected aspects of yourself into your “circle of worth”, holding them with care and attentiveness. Work with puppets, art-making, witnessing, writing, sharing.
Who should attend?
Anyone with an interest in increased self-compassion, including, but not limited to, therapists, educators, helping professionals, expressive arts practitioners. Please email us if you have questions about whether this might be for you.
4 CEU’s for LCSW, LMFT, LMHC.
4 hours elective credit for EAFI Certificate students.
Registration Deadline: 7 days prior to workshop date. If minimum enrollment is not met, workshop may be canceled. Please register by February 9th.
More about Deborah:
Deborah McKeever has a M.A. in Psychology, and Certificate in Art and Healing. She is an LMHC and expressive arts therapist. She owns Still Life in G Gallery in the Village of the Arts in Bradenton, Florida.She is a Public Art Advisory Board member appointed by the DDA in Bradenton. In the past she worked for the Arts in Medicine Program at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL as an artist-in-residence. Deborah is currently doing
expressive arts with outpatient groups and with individual clients at Centerstone (formerly Manatee Glens) She also does an annual client art show for Centerstone.
